Housing Woes

So school is crazy with a bunch of projects and I have to worry about housing. Due to a peculiar series of events my housing situation next year is interesting to say the least. Being a new sophomore living in an upper class dorm, I didn't really get to know anyone on my floor well enough to live with next year. Most of my friends are freshman, the ones I took classes with. Unfortunately sophomore can't live in this dorm. They all live in one dorm. The few sophomores I know are living in Skinner. A "reject" dorm on the far end of campus in the middle of nowhere. It is actually considered to be "off campus." So I am left with not knowing anyone to live with in the dorm I was expecting to live in next year.

I have been invited to live with my sophomore friends in Skinner next year which is actually looking better and better. I would live with 3 other guys, and then most likely the 4 other guys would be right across the hall. My biggest issue is it is sort of far away from the union building where the cafeteria is. I would still prefer to eat at the cafeteria as opposed to cooking my own food.

So this feeling of "I have no one to live with next year," has left me feeling very drained, on top of being tired.
