1 Day Countdown - Day 5

I haven't posted since I left. I was without a computer until Monday, and I have been much too busy to post here. I just got back from playing ultimate frisbee on the intramurals field. There were three ultimate frisbee games going and one football game going when I left at 11:30pm. This place is awesome so far. We all recieved $3200 laptops on monday. EVERYONE leaves their dorm room open all the time. The community is incredible. I am tired and don't feel like retelling every event and every way this place is awesome, but I will mention on thing I have noticed that may not seem very important. During the orientation lectures, when the speaker begins speaking the entire room immediately becomes quiet. There is no chatter or whispering. The freshman not only respect each other but whoever is speaking.

Tomorrow is my last day before classes start. I am taking a beginning programming class, CS120, Discrete and Combinatorials math class, Differential Equations math class, and Statics a mechanical engineering class. I may have the time to write out something longer tomorrow. Don't count on it.

P.S.
Check the link in the title of this post to see some pictures I've taken with my new camera.

  • Man, that is some schedule. Good luck with that. HA!

Anyway, that's awesome you're having a blast over there at Rose-Hullman. Don't like it too much becuase you'll never want to come back, and that's not cool.

I'll take a look at the pics later, but I'm excited for them.

  • My grammar was not entirely correct and it sounds like I'm taking more classes than I am. I am taking four classes. A beginning programing class, Differential Equations, Discrete and Combinatorials, and Statics. If you add in College and Life skills (a 5th small class) I have 17 units.
