Saturday Night Sober Antics
This has to be one of the most interesting evenings I've had at Rose so far.
After getting back to my floor from a board game club, a group of guys, Dave, Knox, Bender, and I, were throwing my new "aerobie" type disc until it slid underneath a locked door. So we were sitting around talking until three, out of the four, decided to go throw a frisbee outside in the freezing cold. Dave decided to go play poker over in New Res, the sophomore dorm across the lake. The two other guys and I threw the frisbee for a while until we got bored. At this point we called my room, from the speakerphone outside the door, and my roommate answered. We pranked him for a while but he didn't play along with us and hung up. Then we called Eric, who hangs out with us, and asked him for the blue key, because we need to get into the blue door. He didn't know what the heck was going on. We talked with him for a while. We then proceeded to call someone we knew in New Res to go get Dave, the guy who was playing poker. We talked to him for a while and told him we were told he had the blue key. He didn't know anything about this either.
Knox, Bender, and I decided we needed to go ask Dave in person about the blue key. As we started off to walk across the lake Knox saw someone he knew and went to talk with him, and Bender and I went to go tell Eric he should go with us. He agreed and the three of us, Bender, Eric, and I, were off.
We arrived at New Res, bugged Dave, who was bored of poker so he joined us. There was a fire on the beach outside so we sat around that for a while until Eric decided that his favorite pants, the ones he was wearing, had a huge hole in the pocket and deserved to be disposed of. Only burning was a worthy end to his pants. So he pulled his pants off and threw them into the fire. We discussed this for a while and then danced around the fire as a eulogy for the pants. Then Eric used my frisbee to get water to put the fire out. This went on for a few minutes until he splashed us all. Bender and I immediately started yelling about it. Dave stood there. All of a sudden he grabbed Eric and pushed him into the water. Then, all four of us freezing, because the fire had gone out, walked back to our dorm.
